 Improve Your Health – Why Steam Showers are Rapidly Becoming the Best Way to Chill Out

Modern steam shower cabins for home installation are incredibly easy to incorporate in your bathroom, either as a simple upgrade or as part of more extensive home renovations. A steam shower provides a whole new dimension to your showering experience. Here’s how:


Steam on tap

The steam shower unit heats the water until it turns into vapour (steam); this is done by a steam generator. This is typically a 3KW steam generator which then feeds the steam into the steam shower cubicle via nozzles or jets, normally between 6 and 8 jet nozzles are fitted inside the cabin and allow the steam to be uniformly distributed within the enclosure for best effect.

There have been recurring trends in the Bathrooms sector for 2015. There has recently been a big emphasis on luxury, high quality bathroom installations and the bathroom itself is becoming one of the main feature rooms of a property. Saving water and conserving energy is still extremely important and in 2016 bathroom designers are looking to achieve high levels of efficiency and sustainability without compromising design. The role of the bathroom has changed somewhat in recent years and this is becoming more apparent in the designs in 2015. From a design perspective there’s a colour seen everywhere in brochures, magazines & online and this year it’s grey with striking vein and slate tiles dominating both the walls and floors to create a smooth and clean look.
